Students of class VIII participated in it. The purpose behind this was to create
awareness among students.

Students make energy savings posters to put up throughout their
school. These posters will show the word
“OFF” with an arrow pointing down. These
posters were placed by light switches.

It was practically implemented in classesStudents were asked to
turn off lights, computers, etc. when they leave the rooms and if they do other things to save electricity at school.

• Keeping peace and developing friendly relations among ourselves and nations
• Working towards a day f cease fire and non-violence

Our aim was to advance active learning in the areas of conflict resolution, global citizenship, human rights and the link between sustainability and peace, using Peace Day 21
September as a focus.
