PHYSIOLOGICAL

The need for water, food, air and sleep. Maslow believed that these needs are the most important!

In addition to the basic requirements of nutrition, air and temperature regulation, the physiological needs also include such things as shelter and clothing. Maslow also included sexual reproduction in this level of the hierarchy of needs since it is essential to the survival and propagation of the species

SAFETY

Security needs – these includes needs for safety and security

• Security of the body

• Employment• Resources• mortality • family• Property• health

Finding a job, obtaining health insurance and health care, contributing money to a savings account, and moving into a safer neighbourhood are all examples of actions motivated by the security and safety needs.

Together, the safety and physiological levels of the hierarchy make up what is often referred to as the basic needs.

LOVE/BELONGING • friendship • Family • Sexual intimacy

These include needs for belonging, love and affection

In order to avoid problems such as loneliness, depression, and anxiety, it is important for people to feel loved and accepted by other people. Personal relationships with friends, family, and lovers play an important role, as does involvement in other groups that might include religious groups, sports teams, book clubs, and other group activities.

ESTEEM • Confidence • Achievement• Respect of others• Respect by others

These include the need for things that make us feel proud of our self!

In addition to the need for feelings of accomplishment and prestige, the esteem needs include such things as self-esteem and personal worth. People need to sense that they are valued and by others and feel that they are making a contribution to the world. Participation in professional activities, academic accomplishments, athletic or team participation, and personal hobbies can all play a role in fulfilling the esteem needs.

SELF ACTUALIZATION

• Morality • Spontaneity• Problem solving • Lock of

prejudice • Acceptance of

facts • Creatively

Concerned with personal growth, less concerned with the opinions of others and want to do well in life!

Such people seem to be fulfilling themselves and to be doing the best that they are capable of doing... They are people who have developed or are developing to the full stature of which they capable.

PHYSICAL NEEDS OF AN INFANT

water, health care, warmth, sleep, clean clothes and healthy food because if they didn’t they would be become ill and wouldn’t live because it needs all of this because when you are a baby you are delicate and are very venerable so they are easily harmed because you are just beginning there life so they need healthy diets!

INTELLECTUAL NEEDS OF AN INFANT!

Need to learn to talk, crawl, walk, read, look after there self's because in there life they will need to grow up and do things for them self!

EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF AN INFANT!

Cuddles, care, love, friends and family, they need this so they can understand to love, care and look after other people when they are older and to feel safe and warm and not alone!

SOCIAL NEEDS FOR AN INFANT!

Someone to play with meeting new baby's so they know how to share, play and be friendly to another baby!

NEEDS OF CHILDREN

PHYSICAL NEEDS OF A CHILD!

Exercise, lots of healthy foods, after school clubs, not a lot of junk food!

They need this to build friendship and to build there confidence and also to be a healthy person.

INTELLECTUAL NEEDS FOR A CHILD!

School, after school clubs, party's, sleepovers

They need this so they can make more friends and experience party's, sleepover, meeting different people.

EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF A CHILD!

Love and support, spending time with friends and family

They need love and support, family and friends because if they didn’t have support they wouldn’t feel loved and wouldn’t feel that good about them self and they need love to feel good about them self. They need friends, family to make them feel special.

SOCIAL NEEDS OF A CHILD!

Friends, family, school teachers, doing thing's outside of school with family, friends.

They need this to have fun and experience different things while socialising with other people.

NEEDS OF TEENAGERS

PHYSICAL NEEDS OF A TEENAGER!

Exercise, good foods, not too much fast food, time with friends and family, sex.

Because if they didn’t have time with friends and family they would become very unsocial, depressed and lonely.

INTELLECTUAL NEEDS OF A TEENAGER!

Sleepovers, party's, friends, family, relationships

They need this so they can learn to have friends and have experiences with them and also have a social life by going to party's and going out with your friend and having a nice time, they need this to grow up

EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF A TEENAGER!

Relationships, love, care, trust

They need this to feel special and to feel good about them self.

SOCIAL NEEDS OF A TEENAGER!

Phones, laptops, party's, relationships, friends, family, Facebook, Bmm

They need phones, laptops to contact friends and talk to them and they need friends, family to help them and be there for them!

PHYICAL NEEDS OF AN ADULT!

Sex, friends, relationships, water, food, exercise, sleep, family

They need this to survive and have a nice life

EMOTIONAL NEEDS AN ADULT!

Love, care, trust, friends, family

They need this so they don’t feel useless and unwanted.

SOCIAL NEEDS OF AN ADULT!

Pub, shopping, taking kids to school, watch sports.

They need this so they have time to do there own thing to have fun and not be boring and un -sociable.

INTELLECTUAL NEEDS OF AN ADULT!

friends, family, relationships, work, clubs.

They need to learn this for there life to become good people and know what to do in there life.

Food, water, showers, sex, walking stick, wheel chair and exercise.

They need this so they don’t die.

SOCIAL NEEDS OF AN OLD PERSON!

Clubs, bingo, family and friends.

They need this so they can keep there self busy.

INTELLECTUAL NEEDS OF AN OLD PERSON!

Bingo, games, grandchildren and need to learn how to be more careful and know what there body can and cant do.

They need this so they can keep there brain active.

EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF A OLD PERSON!

Love, care and happiness.

They need this so they feel good and don’t get depressed.
