This is a report on the most appropriate hair design college for Ms. Brooke Peterson

who is currently a junior in high school. She wants to have a successful career in

cosmetology.

Problem Statement

To guarantee she will become a polished, professional, and efficient hair stylist, Brooke needs to choose a college to attend after high

school graduation. Currently, she is searching for a school in Minnesota that will set her apart as a well-rounded hair stylist. In order to succeed in the field she loves, she desires to find the best

institute for her calling.

Research Methods

There were several research tools used to complete this report:

• The selected college websites

• Interviews with the admissions representatives at each school

• Interviews with Brooke and her mother, Paula

Summary & Advice

• This report shows that Model College of Hair Design in St. Cloud has the least expensive tuition at $11,890 and housing for the students attending, the Minnesota School of Beauty in Woodbury coming in second at $11,900, with no housing facility. Lastly the Minnesota School of Cosmetology is the most expensive at $16,275 and also has no housing available.

• I believe that the Model College of Hair Design is the best choice for you. It offers housing, scholarships, it’s the lowest tuition price and their job placement is 100% after graduation. This location is also the

closest to your hometown making it a shorter trip home.
