HAWK AND CHEYENNE WITH HELP FROM SKYE

Sam Vitale is riding Skye, I am handling Hawk and one of newest junior trainers SalinaP. is handling Cheyenne. In these photos we are getting them accustomed to another

horse being ridden that is not part of their herd.

Hawk wasn’t so sure about it at first.

With the help of Jessica C. on the gate and with the cookies, we are getting them used tobeing in a ring situation.

Taking turns on the positions.

They soon decided it was pretty fun to do.

Even walking together with Skye and Sam in the middle.

Here I am getting Hawk used to walking around Skye and Sam.

Now I asked Sam to put her arm out as if to pet Hawk while walking around them. Hawkwasn’t so sure at first.

But soon she realized she could get a scratch out of it.

We did the same with Cheyenne.NOTE- We did this again the next day with Hawk tacked up too. Tom wasn’t there yet sowe didn’t get photos. But Emilie B. was able to mount and sit on Hawk with no problem.

We ended right there.

THIS IS SARAH P.Sarah is one of our newest junior trainers. Sarah has a mustang she adopted last year.

Emilie B. and I are working with Tess to get her used to someone above her head andleaning on her back a little.

Getting Tess used to walking up to a person standing on a mounting block.

Emilie is rubbing Tess to let her know she is alright.

NOTE- We worked with Allie too before Tom had gotten there to help us with thephotos.

We worked with Cheyenne again too. But this time bareback. Emilie is on her and Sarahis helping us.

Cheyenne isn’t too sure at first.

But she walked off quietly when asked.
