Routes to employment……. ACADEMIC – ‘A’ LEVELS OR EQUIVALENT:

Doctor – 3 good ‘A’ levels – Chemistry + 2 from Maths, Physics, Biology & Zoology, 5 years as a university medical student

Nursing and Midwifery - 3 / 4 year Diploma or Degree

Other careers for degree level entry:

Physiotherapy, Psychology, Science, Finance , ICT, Radiography, Dietician, Arts Therapy, Audiologist and more…….

GCSE level - e.g. begin as Medical Laboratory Assistant, ICT Help-desk adviser, ambulance care assistant, physiotherapy assistant and complete on the job training.

Relevant A/AS or equivalent – e.g. Chef, Medical secretary, Radiography assistant.
