TRANSCRIPT

Pt. Nic Garza

1

From all the hopes we have the hope of haven is without a doubt is the greatest hope we have

The Sabbath we examined in the last 2 chapters is so important

It could be very boring spend a day with someone who is unfamiliar there is why Sabbath keeping means nothing to those who have not received Jesus as Savior 2

The relationship was broken

Yet in haven the broken relationship will be fully restored

3

The greatest hope and joy will be spending eternity with our

Redeemer 4

Satan does not want people to discover the reality of the heavenly hope so he has invented a counterfeit

hope that few are willing to give their life for

5

• "At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. Daniel 12:1

• "At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. Daniel 12:1

5

This deliverance is not human but divine

6

This is not a fanciful thinking this is realistic hope

"But you, go your way till the end;

for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the

days.“

Daniel 12:13

Daniel was not to worry about future events

The pagan hope centered on the spirits journey

Egyptians prepared their

dead extensively for this journal.

They even buried their

servants with treasures and

food.

8

The writers of the bible in both testaments attest to the enduring hope of the literal physical resurrection.

THIS IS OUR UNMISTAKABLE HOPE AS CHRISTIANS

8 - a

1Corinthians 15:13,13,17 if Christ is not risen our preaching is empty…

1 Corinthians 15:51,52 For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised…

1 Thessalonians 4;16-18 …And the dead in Christ will rise first

2 Timothy 4:6-8 I have fought the good fight. I have finish the race. I have kept the faith…..

Paul reaffirms the same hope that flowed through the veins of the prophet Daniel

9

The Reality of the Resurrection Hope

10

The words Jesus used to describe dead after the resurrection denote reality

1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 "In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

John 14:1-3 11

12

Isaiah the prophet is giving a vision of the reality of the activities of God’s people

17 " For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. 21 They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. 22 They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat; For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

Isaiah 65: 17,21,22

God’s haven is beautiful

Isaiah 35:1,2

Heaven will be a happy place Revelations 21:14

Heaven will be a healthy placeIsaiah 33:24

Heaven Will be a Glorious Place Revelation 21:12-18

Imagine 1500 miles around the city

375 miles on each side.

That would make the city about the size of the state of Kansas and Nebraska combined

Who will go ?3 Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.

Psalms 24:3,4

And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.Revelations 22:17
