Providing Home and Education to Under Privileged Children

Who we are

A registered Non Governmental Organization (NGO) under the ministry of Gender, Labour and Social development in Uganda.

We have about 100 kids whos orphans, and was not in school, age 4-19.

Through our sponsorfamilys who pays 60 usd pr month and 100 usd pr year to uniforms and needs, they are now all in boarding school, and have a guardian family local when not in school.

Why Katanga

•Katanga slum is without any NGO support, and this is why Helpafrica mainly is

supporting kids in this slum, which is proberly the poorest slum in the world..

•Katanga Slum is located in the heart of Kampala and has a population of about

10,000 people of whom 6,000 are children , Help Africa is targeting to reach out

and help the remaining 500 children in Katanga who are not in school, caused by

they are orphans.

A woman prepares a day’s meal with help from her children hardly a metre away from the channel of dirty and stagnant water with a pile of garbage. Flies freely buzz around and could cause her family cholera among other diseases.
