Photography Career continued…Made documentary on French prisonersPhotographed Mahatma Ghandi in IndiaCreated a documentation of Ghandi’s life and it was published in Life Magazine
He created Magnum Photos in 1947
Later YearsPublished The Decisive Moment in 1952
He documented the Spanish Civil War and the Chinese Revolution
Began drawing and paintingNo longer talked about his work
Later Years continued…Fondation Henri Cartier Bresson in Paris
Died August 3, 2002 Career lasted 45 years and his wife
He said: “In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject. The little, human detail can become a Leitmotiv (leading motif)”
