DESCRIPTION
In 2012, Jer Johns gave up most of his physical personal belongings keeping only a backpack, 7 days worth of clothes, an out-of-service iPhone 4s, and a Dell laptop. He then journeyed out onto and lived on the streets of New York for almost a year in an attempt to find himself and his passions. He found his passion in people and photography. He spent his days wandering the streets of New York using the iPhone 4s to take photos of things that he hadn't slowed down to appreciate in a long time. He would then upload his favorites onto Instagram for others to see and appreciate. 'here. in photos' brings together 518 of those photos for the first time in a book that serves as timeline for Jer Johns time on the streets of NYC.
