Comparable Particular:

Something that is COMMON to both the Ancient and Modern context.

Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Non-Comparable Particular:

Something SPECIFIC to either the Ancient or Modern culture

2 Timothy 4:13 “When you come bring the cloak which I left at Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments.”

Combination:

Some Elements are Comparable to both cultures while Others are Not.

1 Corinthians 6:1 “If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints?”

Primary & Secondary Matters:

Primary Need: To ascertain WHAT God has said in sacred Scriptures; to determine the MEANING of the Word of God
