Current Reality Statements:
• Highlight the key challenges and gaps between ‘Where we are today’ and ‘where we’re going’ in the future (i.e. DoS).
• This gap helps to identify high priority areas for action and generates energy required for innovative ideas.
Descriptions of Success
• Describe what success in the community of Highlands will look like in a sustainable and successful future in the year 2030
• It generally takes the form of a statement of the highest aspirations and purpose for the community strategy
Descriptions of Success
• Guide decision-making at every level, within the municipality as well as throughout the community.
• Addresses the question:
What does a successful and sustainable Highlands look like to you in the area of [insert strategy]?
