DESCRIPTION

The Hague (your) Business City The Hague region is a dynamic international business hub, where local and multinational players within the various business sectors come together. Top business sectors include Oil & Gas, Telecom, Space Technology, and Water Technology and Management. Reasons for starting a business or setting up headquarters in the region include the excellent infrastructure, international business climate, top quality educational facilities and the quality of life, combined with the favourable Dutch tax regime. The WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency (WFIA) assists international companies with business location and expansion and can hence provide an all-round overview of the industries and their trends. The Hispeed Tour will provide a brief introduction to the Business field and the various sectors that are active in The Hague. The attractiveness of setting up shop for small scale entrepreneurs in The Hague will be discussed and various educational backgrounds & career paths within the business sectors will be highlighted. A moderated Q/A session will address questions that shed light on the current (inter)national trends, the main challenges and ways to overcome them, the required skill-sets to enter this field and the availability of professional opportunities. Keynote speaker: Marleen Zuijderhoudt
