It is always fantastic to see ex-students still striving for

their best. We were lucky to have Chris Mann visit this

week. He gave the music department an electric guitar he

had refurbished using Canadian oak. As part of the

REDI.E program he turned a guitar that did not work into a

fully functioning guitar that sounded awesome when the

students plugged it into an amp in the music room. Chris

then jumped on the drums and accompanied Jayden as he

played.

It was also thrilling to see 2015 School Captain Callum Sinclair perform on ‘Australia’s got Talent’ on

Sunday night. He was dancing with a group that were successful in progressing to the semi-finals. It just

shows Cobar kids can achieve anything they put their minds to.
