Jesse Hall Chapter Presidents and liaisons received your time via email The 6:45pm time slot on Tues. is reserved for Res Halls and Orgs

so please encourage your residents and members to attend Res Halls and Orgs: your checklists are due after the

meeting. Please find a member of Outreach to turn it in to. Res Halls: we are offering premade bulletin boards for your

hall. If you are interested, please email Outreach by Sept. 27th

October 3rd: Office hours with Parade to discuss designs and materials

123 Reynolds Alumni Center, 7-8 p.m. October 5th: Entry forms due by 5 p.m.

Mizzou.com/hcparade_studentorg ENTRY FORMS ARE OPEN.

October 11th: Detailed sketches due at Liaison meeting

October 27th: Parade

PARADE No outside help allowed Prefabricated materials

The same prefabricated materials from Campus Decorations apply to Parade floats.

Any questions about prefabricated materials can be directed to the Parade Committee.

Float dimensions: 11” feet high (from the bed of the trailer to the top of

the float) 12” feet wide Trailer must not exceed a length of 24 feet

PARADE Two weeks until the Parade entry form

closes! We encourage you to start planning and

working on your float sooner rather than later. Please feel free to bring in sketches to

Friday, October 12 Times for drop-off will be assigned Campus Wide Food Drive Greek pairings - need 800 cans Residence Halls and Orgs- 200 cans Orgs can request to have collection bins

placed at a location

Grocery Store/Community Food Drive October 11-12, 14, 18-19, 21 Greek pairings- 4 volunteers for 4 2-hour shifts (16

shifts total) Residence Halls and Orgs- 4 volunteers for 2 2-

hour shifts (8 shifts total)

SPECIAL EVENTS If you would like help creating your banner, the craft

studio is offering the services and supplies. To make an appointment go to: http://craftstudio.missouri.edu/?page_id=2104

Optional banner option on Farout Field You must bring your banner with grommets on the four

corners Home Depot has a 12 pack for $3, Lowes also carries them

Greek grouping will hang their competition banner on October 21st by 3pm

Residence Halls will hang their competition banner on October 18th

SPECIAL EVENTS You will select your business for Decorate the

District on October 4th. Proof of Contact must include an attached

design for owner/manager. This is due at the liaison meeting on October 11th

If you are in a Greek grouping a member from each chapter must be present while decorating, but it is not required to use all of the allotted time. Decorating will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

SPECIAL EVENTSResidence Halls: Your competition banner will be hung the same day as

the MIZ-BBQ This is to be hung outside your residence hall

BBQ takes place on Thursday, Oct 18 this year You can set up for BBQ area form 11:30am-3:30pm. Part of judging focuses on the atmosphere of your BBQ, so

decorate according to era you have selected! Judging will begin at 4:30pm
