Hong Kong
Hong Kong is an international city in south of China. It is famous for its beautiful
night views and shopping centers. Some people call it ‘Pearl of the Orient’, while
someone call it ‘Shopping Paradise’ because there are a lot of department stores and
shops in Hong Kong. Therefore, it is not surprising that many tourists come to visit
Hong Kong every year.
Victoria Harbor
Victoria Harbor is located in between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, separating the
two regions. Central business district is distributed in both sides of the port. So if you
are in the Kowloon side overlooking towards Hong Kong Island side, you can see
high- rise buildings. There are also many landmarks that you can find out here, such
as Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Bank of China Tower, the
International Finance Centre Tower and Clock Tower and Culture Centre in Kowloon
side.

Leoh Ming Pei. He also designed the famous Glass Pyramid of Louvre.
Hong Kong Disneyland
The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort was built by the Government of Hong Kong and
The Walt Disney Company and officially opened on September 12, 2005. It consists
of the Hong Kong Disneyland theme park, two hotels and retail, dining and
entertainment facilities stretching over 1.3 square kilometers on Lantau Island. It is
located on reclaimed land beside Penny’s Bay, at the northeastern tip of Lantau Island
in Hong Kong.
Ocean Park
Ocean Park in Hong Kong is a marine-themed amusement park situated in Wong
Chuk Hang and Nam Long Shan in the southern District of Hong Kong. Founded in
1977 by the then Governor of Hong Kong Sir Murray MacLehose, Ocean Park has
now grown to about 35 attractions and rides. The park has won several awards,
including the World’s Seventh Most Popular Amusement Park and 33rd
Most Visited
Tourist Attractions in the World by Forbes.
Tsing Ma Bridge
If you go to Tsing Yi Island, you will see Tsing Ma Bridge. It is 2200 meters long. It
is one of the longest suspension bridges in the world. Many cars, buses and trains
travel across it every day.
The Victoria Peak
It’s the peak of Hong Kong, from where the tourists can overlook the panorama of the
business district and Victoria Harbor, all kinds of skyscrapers and neon lights at night.
Local Snacks
Another appealing part of visiting Hong Kong is to try various kinds of snacks in
Hong Kong. Wonton noodle, ice milk tea, wife cake and all kinds of roasted meats.
There are also a lot of restaurants opened to serve the vegetarians.

Shopping Paradise
Hong Kong is a free port, known as ‘shopping paradise’. Many shoppers like to go to
Hong Kong, since the vast majority of goods here are without tariffs. Supplies around
the world are shipped to Hong Kong; some are even cheaper than the country of
origin. Every region has many large shopping malls, which are good places for
shopping and leisure, such as tai koo shing, sha tin new town square and so on.
Within it are large department stores, as well as a variety of shops and restaurants.
Some industries like operating centralized, so customers can have much more choices.
For example, if you want to buy computers and related products, Sham Shui Po
subway station nearby Gordon malls and the Golden Arcade is the best choice.
Household appliances and cameras shops are concentrated in Mong Kok and
Causeway Bay.
