The resulting pyramidal horn constructed with recycled materials is shown in Fig. 10.

The performance of the pyramidal horn has been tested in the laboratory. The matching of the antenna (Fig. 11) has been measured using a network analyzer and the radiation pattern (Fig. 12) has been measured inside an anechoic chamber. The measured radiation patterns are compared to the theoretical ones calculated with the expressions (3) and (4). Agreement between measurements and simulations has been achieved.
