services boxes (desinfection room,monitor room,strorage) are arranges in the central axis, to be easily reached by everyone

the services boxes have lower ceiling to let more light penetrating trough the space

Spatial arrangement in outpatient department Width of the building is 20m to provide better daylighting.Ending of every wing is panoramic sitting out area for refreshing/gathering. The transparency of the end of corridors bring more delightful environment.Rooms are placed at both sides, services boxes are placed in the middle to be easily accessed.

N I G H T PAT I E N TThe second part of the heart clinic is the night patient areas, which are wards for patients who need to stay for a much longer time. The heart clinic have 10 double rooms and 10 single rooms, which allows the total num-ber of patient staying at one time 30. The three levels above the heart clinic wards are all single rooms, with an extra 72 rooms for further expansion. All of the room in the new heart clinic have their own balcony, which al-low patients to have closer connection to the surround-ing landscape, and have the choice of being indoor or outdoor as they wish. The research labs are also closely placed at the first level of the heart clinic allowing a good connection between wards and research activities.
