How to apply to the Mayor’s Low Carbon Prize

RememberThe submitted idea must contribute towards reducing C02 emissions in the capital

Proposals can be for anything as long as it meets the judging criteria. This includes designing a prototype for a new technology, conducting a pilot project to test more efficient ways of doing things or overcoming existing barriers to uptake. It could also be for a research project or dissertation which would result in practical recommendations for actions to reduce carbon emissions in the capital.

Practicality – how will your idea be put into action

Clarity – keep your idea simple and clear – does your granny understand it?

Carbon emissions reductions – does this apply to one person or everyone in London

Broader sustainability benefits – does your idea also help biodiversity, reduce waste or create jobs?
