How to become an EOL content partner

For projects that already have online databases:Visit http://www.eol.org/content_partnerAgreement to share under CC licenseProvide project metadata and logosProvide data in XML, ideally in our schema, but if

not, we help transform data to our system

EOL partners agree to make their information available to everyone with very few restrictions

This is the most restrictive license EOL allows

Partner projects can register themselves

Partner follows steps to set up the partnership

An agreement is generated

Partner provides contact and logo information

Partner provides URL for XML

(sample XML is shown)

Partner controls: •how often we visit the URL to get updates•intellectual property details•the default language

Partner’s XML can override defaults on an object-by-object basis
