How to make a GIF on Gimp

Pretty easy stuff once you get the hang of it…

Open up GIMP!

First create your new canvas.

Decide what you want to do I will just be changing colors to give sort of a rainbow effect

On the first layer create the first part of your animation. Since I am choosing just do flashing lights, I just chose red as my first part of my animation.

For every part of your animation create a new layer.

On your new layer create the next part of the animation I just simply chose a light blue. Repeat these steps till getting the desired number of layers.

Once the desired number of slides/layers are reached you can test your animation.
