Technique 1 -Pick a topic

Write everything you can down about that topic ORRepeat your knowledge to your friends

Focus on difficult topics that you struggle in – before you start the easy topic

Make a list of topics in that subject and rate them based on how confident you feel

Technique 2 –Past papers

In the last week leading up to your exams, attempt as many exam past papers as possible.

Underline key words – Understand what the question is asking you Time yourself Mark your paper – ask your teachers if you are confused about any questions Analyse the mark scheme Mark in a different coloured pen – Store this information into your long term memory

Technique 3 – Revision guide

Use your revision guides as a tool for gaining additional theory

Attempt as many questions as possible in your exam

DO NOT re-write your revision notes over and over again – DOES NOT WORK

Technique 4 – Attend revision sessions

Teachers will be arranging revision sessions after school
