Yet every project needs money
How to fund it yourself?
1) Pre-payment
• Collect $$$ before making product.
2. Sell cheaper alternatives to raise funds.
• Sell an item related, but lower cost that you can afford. Use profits to slowly buy actual products
3. Profit Ploughback
• Start small, use profits generated to buy more and scale up.
4. Consignment
• If you are getting products, it is possible to sell first and pay manufacturer after the sale.
5. Leasing
If you need own equipment, you may consider leasing instead of purchase, especially if there is a maintenance built in lease package.
6. Trade Credit
• If Consignment is not available, trade credit is the next best thing, where you get the products first and pay back 30, 60 or 90 days later.
