What is Prezi?

Prezi is a presentation tool that can be used as

programs such as PowerPoint.

Instead of slides, Prezi makes use of one large

…that allows you to pan and zoom to various parts

of the canvas…

…and Emphasize on the

ideas being presented.

Log on to www.prezi.com

Click Get Started

Create an Account with

Prezi

Prezi offers 3 Account Plans

Select the plan that suits your needs

Key-in your First Name

Key-in your Last Name

Key-in your Email Address

Key-in your Password

Click Continue

Select your Background

(what do you do?)

Click Next

Enter your payment details (Credit Card,

etc…)

…or you can use Paypal

Welcome to Prezi

Let’s browse through the Introduction notes

Create your own Prezi

Click on Start Creating

The Prezi Dashboard

Click Create a New Prezi

Choose your template

Click use template

You will be directed to the Presentation page

How to edit your template

Click Customize

The Customize Menu will

appear on the right-side of your screen

Let’s select a Theme

Here’s two example of Prezi Themes

Igloo Theme

Night Theme

Do you want to use custom colors?

Click Advanced

You will be directed to the Theme Wizard

Change the Font here

Change the Color here

Click Done once you’re

finished customizing your Theme

How to Add Text

Click anywhere you

want to add text

Key-in your text and hit

Enter

How to Edit Text

Click on the text you

want to edit

Then Edit the Text

Enter your Presentation Content

How to Add a Path Point

Click Edit a Path

The presentation path will appear

I’ve added the text “Thank you” which we’ll

add in the Path

Click on any Object to Add it to the Path

Notice that the Text is now included in the

Path…

…and a New Thumbnail was added to the

Path Menu

How to remove a Path Point

Click Edit a Path

Point the mouse pointer over the Thumbnail

Click the “X” button to

remove the Path Point

Click Done once you’re

done editing the Path

How to insert an Image

Click Insert

Click Image

Select the File you want to Upload

Click Open

We’ve now added the

image on our Canvas

How to select a Background

Image

Click Customize

The Customize Menu will appear

Click Choose File

Select file to upload

Click Open

New Background Image

How to Download your Prezi

Click Share

We have Two options

Download as PDF or Portable Prezi

Click Download as PDF

Wait for Prezi to transfer each Path Steps into

pages

How to Save your Prezi

Click Exit

Wait for Prezi to Save your Presentation
