Using the PlugMeter is as easy as 1-2-3

For the first 2-3 seconds the PlugMeter display will show the serial number. After 2-3 seconds the PlugMeter will start reading the appliance’s energy use.

Resetting your PlugMeter 3

The PlugMeter has to be plugged in to be reset.Press the Reset button on the front of the PlugMeter,hold it down for 2-4 seconds – release your hold when you see the DISPLAY start flashing.

What the PlugMeter DisplaysWhen the PlugMeter is plugged into an appliance, the display cycles through 4 different measurements.

Kilowatt Hours (kWh)

*Leave the PlugMeter plugged in for at least two days to get an accurate reading.

Kilowatt hours measures how much electricity an appliance uses. The electricity you purchase is also measured kilowatt hours.

Hours Plugged In (HP)

Hours plugged-in measures the number of hours your appliance has been plugged into a live outlet.

*Leave the PlugMeter plugged in for at least two days to get an accurate reading.

Watts (W)

Watts measures the rate of energy being used.

*Leave the PlugMeter plugged in for at least two days to get an accurate reading.

Hours Using Electricity (hE)

Hours Using Electricitymeasures the amount of hours your appliance is powered up and actually consuming electricity.

*Leave the PlugMeter plugged in for at least two days to get an accurate reading.
