How to Use Animoto
Open web browser
Go to “animoto.com”
Click “GET STARTED”
Click “START TRIAL”
I will just use Facebook, click “SIGN UP USING FACEBOOK”
Complete log in details
Click “Log In”
Click “Okay”
Click drop down button
Select a choice by clicking
Click “SUBMIT”
Dashboard will open
Select video style. Click “OR BROWSE ALL STYLES”
Select from the list by clicking
A preview will play
Click “CREATE VIDEO”
Click “Untitled video” to put title
Type a title “With Extraordinary People”
Click “Save”
Click “Add pics & vids”
OR
Click “+”
Click
Click “Upload Pictures and Video”
Click to select photos or videos
Click “Open”
Photos is being uploaded
Photo upload is complete
Click the song to replace it
Click “BROWSE FULL LIBRARY”
Click any selected song
Click to listen
Click “SELECT SONG” once done choosing
Or Upload own song, click “UPLOAD SONG”
Click to select a song
Click “Open”
Selected song is uploading
Song is now uploaded
To delete, click the photo
Click “Delete”
Click “DELETE”
To move a photo, click selected photo
Drag the photo to its new place
The photo is in new place
To add text, click “Add text”
Enter text (title and sub-title)
Maximum character you can enter
Click “SAVE”
Text card is included
To add caption, hover cursor over photo
Click “Caption”
Type a caption
Click “Save”
Spotlight gives more time of slide in video
Click a photo/card
Click “Spotlight”
Click “Save” for every significant progress
Click to select viewing options
To preview your video click “PREVIEW VIDEO”
A preview will play
Click “CONTINUE EDITING”
This displays my total video length
This displays the music length
Click to edit song and pacing
Click the slider on the end
Drag the end slider back
Song length was trimmed from the end
Trim music length from beginning using start slider
Select image pacing if manual or auto
Click slider to select
If manual, slow to fast slider is displayed
Click pacing slider
Drag pacing slider to desired speed
Click “Save”
If image pacing is too slow other photos are ejected
Adjust pacing slider to center
Click “Save”
Click ejected photo on the side
Drag to movie slide list
Or Click an image on the side
Press and hold Shift key
Click last image on the side
Click anyone of them
Drag to movie slide list
All images are now back on the list
Click image pacing slider to “Auto”
Image pacing will fill the song length
Click “Save”
Click “PREVIEW VIDEO”
If happy and done, click “PRODUCE”
Click to select video quality
Click “FINISH”
The video is on “finishing mode”
Choose from any share options
Click “Link”
The link is displayed
Click “COPY TO CLIPBOARD”
You may paste it on address bar of browser
Press enter key
You (I) now have 1 page view
Click “Download” to download the video
Select quality options
And it is processing…
Click “MP4”
Click “OK”
Open downloaded file on folder.
