DX Coils
Advantages1. Uses Energy Recovery. Very little energy wasted.2. VSD control. Analog Control.3. Most cost effective to control RH above 30%.4. Low Maintenance Cost. Wash the coil with water.5. No contamination to supply air due to no direct
contact media. 6. DX coils is build into the AHU. Need less space.
Disadvantages1. Limitations to control RH below 30% RH due to
minimum suction gas temp of 3 deg C.
