Updated Guidelines for PPE UsageSwedish is aligning with the regional health care systems and the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines for PPEusage. Our adoption of the Special Droplet/Contact Precautions, in addition to standard precautions, takes effect onMarch 6, 2020. Our new practices are outlined below. You will follow Airborne Respirator/ContactPrecautions when performing aerosol generatingprocedures that may include the following:

Everyone must, prior to entering:
