About the ConferenceThe international conference onAdvances in MechanicalEngineering (AME-2008) isscheduled to be held duringDecember 15-17, 2008. Theobjective of this conference is tobring together experts from

The conference isstructured as plenary lecturesfollowed by parallel sessions.The plenary lectures will bedelivered by the eminent
personalities at internationallevel invited to introduce thetheme of the conference. Eachparallel session starts with aninvited talk on specific topicfollowed by contributed papers.

About the InstituteThe institute was initiallyestablished as SardarVallabhbhai Regional College ofEngineering & Technology in1961 and was upgraded byGovernment of India as aNational Institute of Technology
on 4th October, 2002. Theinstitute is one of the pioneeringinstitutions and has contributedmany outstanding engineers inIndia & abroad. It is conductingseven UG programs and fifteenPG programs in engineeringand Ph.D. program in alldisciplines of engineering andapplied sciences.
