The InCon Shipping System is a completely integrated system that contains all the tools necessary for ship chartering and opera7ons. The system is designed for use in tank, bulk and liner service, and for all types of ships and cargoes. The InCon Scheduler makes decisions based on actual events and data from InCon Opera7on to reduce idle days, increase cargo carried and make the most cost effec7ve use of your fleet at all 7me. From the InCon Es7mator func7on, where voyages are calculated, to the fixed voyage data that are automa7cally transferred to the Voyage Opera7on, where the voyages are updated with actual data, and the final results, all opera7ons are in your hands. Built into the system is an interface module that handles the automa7c exchange of data between the user company’s financial system and InCon Opera7on module. The Web Portal module is generated as a Web applica7on. Data such as Ship posi7on, ETA, etc. can be entered into the system directly via the Internet. This informa7on can also be sent as an SMS message to the relevant charterers and operators.

The InCon Es7mator module is the op7mal tool for charterers. The module contains a computa7onal program that can calculate voyage results easily and quickly, and it is easy to use, with all data available from one screen display. The InCon Es7mator is integrated with the InCon Opera7on module, which allows the calcula7ng program to gather informa7on the vessels via the Ques7onnaire module: informa7on for example such as bunker consump7on and running costs. The InCon Es7mator makes it possible for you to include in your planning the bunker supplies remaining from the ship’s previous voyage by automa7cally gathering this informa7on from the InCon Opera7on module. The InCon Es7mator also allows you to pull out historical data on port expenses, key figures, etc. The InCon Es7mator module also includes a number of sensi7vity analyses of quan7ty, rate and replenishment prices, all of which appear in a single screen display. On the basis of a desired T/C equivalent, the InCon Es7mator can calculate the freight rate necessary to obtain the T/C equivalent you want. Also integrated into the system is a distances table that allows the user to add user-‐defined distances. In the InCon Es7mator module, using a template, you can design a screen display that matches your needs, with user-‐defined default values, hide and protect fields, etc.

• User defined screen Layout on three levels (General, Departmen-‐ tal, User) gives the user full control over Fields. • Unlimited Lines available for freight disbursements and miscel-‐ laneous Income/expenses • Data input is quick ans easy, and can be done without using a mouse • Sensi7vity adjustment calcula7on for “Qty”, “Rate” and “Repl. Price” is in one screenshot, with joint dependence. Key figures and sta7s7cal es7mates are included in the calcula7on process. • Time Charter Voyage can be inserted into a calcula7on. The System then calculates both ”hire in” and P/L for Bunkers. • Rate required for desired T/C equivalent is calculated automa7-‐ cally. • Mul7ple Voyages can be combi-‐ ned in a single calcula7on. • At a Supervisor level, extra port/ sea days can be added to a voyage. • Data from the Ques7onary Module of the Opera7ons System is used For calcula7ons

The InCon Opera7on is the module in which all informa7on for each voyage is collected. The ‘InCon Es7mator’ program is the main screen display that shows the results of the voyage in ques7on. As a star7ng point, the main screen display can be considered an empty matrix in which the user can define the revenues/costs, as well as which and how many (up to 9) columns should be shown. Using the ‘InCon Es7mator’ program, you can update voyages either directly from the main screen display or through sub-‐modules. All sub-‐modules can be accessed easily by using the func7on keys. Also part of the system is a schedule module, a Web applica7on that allows ship reports to be keyed in either directly by the ship staff or by office staff at home. This informa7on can then automa7cally be sent in the form of an SMS message to the relevant charterer and operator. As standard, the InCon Opera7on works with voyage types such as “Voyage Charter”, “Time Charter” and “Cargo Relet Charter”, but the voyage types are user-‐defined and new ones can be created as required. Another feature of the shipping system is a bunker calcula7on module that computes bunker consump7on for the different types of voyage using the first-‐in-‐first-‐out principle. The InCon Opera7on forms the basis for a company’s actual accoun7ng func7on as far as ship earnings are concerned. Integrated into the system is an es7ma7on module that supplies es7mates or pro-‐rated es7mates to the company’s financial system.

• Easy access to all sub-‐modules via the Fixture Calcula7on Display. • Income/expenses user-‐defineable. • An expanded Vessel database can contain all informa7on to use For the Ques7onary Module. • Expanded on-‐line search facility for all vital func7onali7es. • Complete overview of the off-‐hire of a Vessel. • Bunkers are calculated for both Owner and Charterer in ”buy/sell” And ”Consump7on” situa7ons. • Ques7onary Module is integrated In the System. Import of diverse Ques7onarys from the Vessel Database is possible. • A Pool Management Module is integrated in the System. • An external report Generator is integrated in the System

The interface module handles the exchange of data between the shipping system and external systems such as the user’s accoun7ng system. The book-‐keeping entries concerning ships and voyages will be validated against the informa7on in the InCon Opera7on via the inter-‐face module. These entries are transferred to the InCon Opera7on and shown in the “Accoun7ng” column. When preparing company accounts, transfer es7mates from InCon Opera7on can then be transferred to the company’s accoun7ng system. In the case of crossover voyages, the es7mates will be pro-‐rated. This module also contains a Web interface that makes it possible to receive informa7on over the Internet and send informa7on from the system in the form of SMS messages. Ships and agents can send informa7on over the Internet, which is then saved directly to an in-‐box in the interface module. This informa7on is then validated by the system, and aaer approval by the head office, for example, the data can be automa7cally updated in the schedule module. With the right access code, ships and agents can call up a local “home page” that contains a pre-‐defined screen display in which informa7on can be entered, e.g. statements of facts. It is not necessary to be on-‐line while the data is being keyed in, only when the data is being sent.
When ships and agents transmit their data via the Internet, they can also at the same 7me send vital informa7on in the form of SMS messages directly to the charterer and operator.

Key Data In – Once • If Voyage related transac7ons are Put into an accoun7ng System, the Data is automa7c validated against the Voyage Opera7ons System Using a combina7on of Ship, Voyage and Port calls. • When D/A transac7ons are ente-‐ red the Port calls on the I7nerary Will be shown and only Port Names on the Itenerary can be selected. • Once a Vessel, Fixture Number And Port has been created in the Voyage System, the Data is trans-‐ ferred to the Accoun7ng System. • Aaer the Voyage-‐related transac-‐ Tions are entered into the Accoun-‐ 7ng System, they are transferred to Voyage Opera7ons and are shown in the Fixture Calcula7on Column. • Aaer an Voyage Es7mate has been Prepared in Voyage Opera-‐ 7on, the Es7mate is automa7cally transferred to the Accoun7ng System Aaer the Financial Statement are finished, the Es7mate is transfer-‐ red back into the voyage Opera7on System.
