• All sessions will take place here.

• Make sure you take notes, and come with

questions to make best use of the time.

• Be ready to pitch your idea for each session

to provide context.

• Do not arrive late.

• Not every teammate needs to attend every

session, but we expect some team

representation at each session.

• Virtual provisions will be accounted for.

• Schedules are subject to change.

JUDGING CRITERIA &

DEMO DAY

Judged on 5 criteria:

Fundability: How investable is this idea? Is

there a sustainable business model that can

grow with outside investment?

Market: Is the market large enough for this

company to succeed?

Blockchain: Does the idea need and benefit

from being decentralized and is it a scalable

blockchain idea?

CRITERIAPrize: $500,000 for one project.

Quality of Presentation: How successfully did

the team articulate and pitch their idea? Is

there a demo?

Feasibility of Success: How well did the team

execute on their problem? Is the solution

designed in a way that takes into consideration

the end-to-end user experience?

DEMO DAY PROCESS

• Each team will have a presentation table.

• Judges will come to each table in groups.

• Total time spent at each table will be 7 minutes —

3 minute pitch, and 4 minutes for Q&A.

• Judges will score based on the before criteria.

• Time will be allocated at the end for judges to

gain further information if necessary.

• Judge deliberation, then a winner will be

announced.

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS:

- Teams must pitch and present a demo to be

eligible to win.

- Only members present at the Hackathon will

be eligible for prize money.

(maximum 5 team members).

HOUSEKEEPING & RULES

HOUSEKEEPING

• Meeting Rooms: 4 downstairs, 2 upstairs.

Anyone can book. Google Calendar.

• Printing: It is possible to print here.

• Shuttle Schedules. Please refer to the

schedule you should have upon arrival for

leaving times from the hotel, to the space and

vice versa.

• Wristband: have them at all times.

• Please be aware of yourselves and your

surroundings. Do not walk at night. Be careful

with belongings. Move around in groups etc..

• Food and snacks are provided. Do not eat

outside and expect reimbursement.

• Inform staff if you are updating your travel

plans as soon as possible.
