Installing a dedicated Windows web server for Mixed Multi‐tier.

Step 1: select Other LANSA Features from the V14 SP2 install

2. Select the following to install

3. Some options must be changed on the Options and Summary screen

4. The fully qualified name, the LANSA listener port and the user/password must reflect the IBM I

D/A server

5. Wait for the install to complete

6. Open the Web Administration tool and from the Options menu, select LANSA Web Server

Extension Current.

7. From the Tools menu, select Maintain LANSA Systems, double click the listed system (or select

the listed system and press the Change button) and check the IBM I checkbox and set the LANSA

program library for the IBM I LANSA system.

8. Test the connection.

9. From the Tools menu, select Test Run Test

10. Execute your test URL

11. Press the Send Request to Application Server to confirm the connection to the D/A server is OK.

12. This setup is required for using Publish Web Services using an IBM I D/A server.
