A few notes before you begin… All sizes listed are width x length Do NOT use a zipper with metal teeth! There is an optional Scrappy Pocket included for those with an extra large embroidery field of at least 7.5” x 12.8”. The pocket fits the Large design only. If you are making the Scrappy Pocket, you will skip Fabric OP and instead cut fabrics for the Scrappy Pocket using the chart on page 8. You will need to complete the Scrappy Pocket in its own hooping before you hoop and stitch the wallet. It is suggested that you skip vinyl in the Small Wallet as it creates extra bulk in the small. Please respect our copyright. You cannot share, give away, or resell the design files and/or instructions or alter them and call them your own. You MAY create up to 500 finished products for
resale at craft fairs, on Etsy, etc., and we wish you much success if you offer them for sale!

Press Interfacing F to the wrong side of Fabric F. Set aside.
Fold Fabric OP in half widthwise, wrong sides together, and press to crease. Set aside.
Press fusible webbing to the back of Fabric E. Be
sure to leave the paper backing on the fusible
webbing for now.
Fold the card pockets, accordian-style, following
graphics on the following pages; Measure and mark
Fabric E along the dotted lines shown, using an
erasable marking pen. You can also snip each
measurement into the seam allowance, which will be
very helpful when you bring the piece to the ironing
board to press the folds.
After measuring and marking, fold each section on
the dotted line. You will alternate between outward
folds and inward folds to create the card pockets for
your wallet. Press each fold to crease it.
When you are done, carefully remove the paper
backing on the webbing, and refold. Place a pin at the
lower edge of the fabric to mark it as the lower edge.
Place the backing paper on the back to cover the
adhesive, then set aside.

5. Remove the hoop from the machine and turn it over to the back. Place Fabric B over the bottom of the project, right side down, aligning the top edge of Fabric F about 1” over the top of the zipper. Tape in place well.
Replace the hoop on your machine and sew Stitch Sequence 5 to tack down the fabric. Note that this stitch line will not connect, to prevent it from stitching the zipper closed.
9. Place the piece over the project, aligning the fold of Fabric D just above the top zipper teeth. Remove the clips. Tape in place along the sides, taking care to assure the accordion folds in Fabric E are straight. Cover with a piece of water soluble topping to prevent the presser foot from catching in a fold during the next step. Tape in place.
6. Sew Stitch Sequence 6 to create placement lines for Fabric C.
7. Place Fabric C over the project, with the fold aligned across the placement lines. Tape in place along the sides and lower edge.
Sew Stitch Sequence 7 to tack down Fabric C.
8. Open the the fold of Fabric D. With the fold of Fabric D on the bottom, slide the the lower edge of Fabric E into the fold (remove the pin you previously placed on the bottom of Fabric E.) Place the vinyl in front of Fabric E, butting a long edge of vinyl into the fold. Use a clip to hold the fabrics inside the fold of Fabric D.

13. Center the fold of the pocket, right side (or scrappy pieced side) down, across the placement lines. Tape in place. Sew Stitch Sequence 10 to tack down the pocket along the left side.
11. Remove the Water Soluble Topping. Sew Stitch Sequence 9 to create placement lines for Fabric OP (or the Scrappy Pocket, if you made one.)
12. DO NOT MISS THIS STEP! Unzip the zipper 2/3 of the way across the project. If you forget this step, your zipper pull will get stitched outside the seam line and the zipper will not open!
15. Remove the project from the hoop. Trim around the project leaving a 1/4 seam allowance, and using pinking shears to reduce bulk in the seam. Clip corners.

16. Turn the project right side out through the side opening.

17. Fold in the opening and press to crease. Place a piece of fusible seam tape to in the seam opening, and press to fuse it closed.
19. Unzip the zipper all the way and gently poke through the tearaway stabilizer behind the zipper. Gently remove the remaining tearaway stabilizer from inside the zippered section of the wallet.
18. Turn the pocket around to the back of the wallet and press.
20. Install the male snap parts on the top rounded flap, approximately 1/4” down from the top. The male side should face the inside of the wallet and will go through all of the layers in the flap.
21. Locate the placement for the female snap part by closing the wallet, noting where the male part sits. Mark this spot on the back pocket, underneath the flap.
22. Install the female snap parts only through the back pocket layers. The flat side of the snap will hide in the pocket, and the female side will show on the outside of the pocket.
