Established in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2001, the Inter IKEA Centre Group owns and manages 30 shopping centres across 14 countries with more than 1,850,000m2 GLA. Since entering China in 2008, Inter IKEA Centre Group has started to construct 3 regional shopping centre projects in the cities of Wuxi, Beijing and Wuhan. Our group has 20 further projects, globally, in the pipeline.

IICG China Wuxi Project

It’s more than the city of Wuxi,it’s about the people we reach.

PROJECT LOCATION• The Wuxi shopping centre is located by the Jing Hu Expressway, in between the city centre and the high speed train link connecting Shanghai and Beijing.

• The core catchment area covers more than 2,420,000 people, made up of 830,000 households.

• We connect directly to the new metro line No.2. There are also numerous bus routes serving the neighboring residential areas.

MARKET POTENTIAL

• Located 130km west of Shanghai, Wuxi is a city with a population of 6,200,000 people.

• It has the 6th highest GDP per capita in China. Total GDP is comparable to that of Croatia.

• Within the shopping centre core catchment area there are 2,420,000 people.

It’s more than the capital of China,

it’s a leading city of the world.

PROJECT LOCATION

• The Beijing shopping centre is located by, and directly connected to, Xi Hong Men Station on metro line No. 4, just next to the 5th Ring Road in Da Xing District, a rapidly developing area in south Beijing.

• The core catchment area covers 3,450,000 people in 1,200,000 households.

• The shopping centre is well connected to the 5th Ring Road, Jing Kai Expressway and the new Jing Liang highway. The shopping centre is also linked to a major bus terminal connecting it to nearby residential areas. MARKET POTENTIAL

• As the capital of China, Beijing is one of the most important cities in the world.

• The population is 17,550,000, and there are 450,000new residents in addition each year.

It’s more than the biggest city of central China,

it’s also booming with potential.

PROJECT LOCATION

• The Wuhan shopping centre is located in Qiao Kou District. It is directly linked to metro line No.1 at the intersection of the 3rd Ring Road and Jie Fang Road - a main highway leading to the heart of the city.

• The core catchment area covers 4,400,000 people; made up of 1,450,000 households.

•Multiple bus lines connect the shopping centre and neighboring residential areas.

MARKET POTENTIAL

• Wuhan is the capital city of Hubei province with a population of 9,100,000 (1,000,000 of whom are college or university students).

• It is a major transportation hub connecting all parts of China by road, rail, air and water. The city is undergoing a rapid transformation into a modern metropolis.
