• Improve informational skills of our users
• Provide the easier and the quicker way to learn and get relevant and precise information
• Users Training sessions without scheduled time
New Technologies in Medical School
• Plan to promote and increase the use of multimedia learning
• Some UAB Medical School teachers have been involved on projects to improve and promote the introduction of new technologies as a part of the teaching methodology
• Contact with Universitat Politèctica de València (UPV, Spain) to use a specific tool for online courses: Polimedia

• Polimedia might fit well in explaining complicated topics
• Helps to perform a search, how to save the results, or how to get them on mobile devices.
• Support researchers with H-index, IF (Impact Factor), SJR (SCimago Journal Rank), SNIP (Source Normalized Impact per Paper)
Conclusions
• Polimedia is a great tool for acquiring bibliographic search skills
• Allows to improve users skills without having to attend a classroom course at scheduled time
• It is an ideal solution for repetitive tasks
• A new way to keep in touch with the teacher
• Users can access as often as necessary
