3. The 3rd call for applications

What is expected from the projects?

• Solutions for common challenges relevant for the whole or major part of the region

To increase institutional capacities of

public authorities and agencies, NGOs, enterprises and research organisations

Project partners

• At least 3 partners from 3 different countries

• Lead partner principle

• Types of partners: National, regional and local authorities

Sectoral agencies and public service providers

Higher education and research institutions

Business support organisations

Private for profit partners

• Increase institutional capacity of public authorities at all levels of governance

Include public authorities with relevant roles in the partnership

Except: Specific objective 1.1 “Research and

innovation structures”

In addition, the Programme particularly welcomes…

• SO 1.1 Research & Innovation infrastructures: applications that include private partners;

• P2 “Natural resources” and P3 “Transport”: applications that plan investments to be realised with funding outside the Programme

• EUSBSR flagship projects

• Obligatory submission of a Project Idea Form (PIF) and consultation with MA/JS until 15th January 2018

• Monitoring Committee members or National Contact Points may contact for further advice
