• 2 teams of 9 players each• 4 bases• 9 innings• 3 outs per inning• Both teams hit

• Invented by James Naismith• National Basketball Association (NBA)• Hoop is 10 feet tall and 18 inches wide• College Basketball (NCAA)

• 5 players per team• Score points by shooting ball through

hoop• Must dribble when have ball• Various violations known as “Fouls”• Some body contact is ok• Free Throws• 2 Halves or 4 Quarters• Basket is 2 points, “Three-pointer” is 3,
