According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service there are about 4,300 invasive species in the U.S today (2012).

Invasive Species can endanger native species by: • Taking over their habitats• Preying on them • Outcompeting them for food• Disrupting ecosystems • (U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, 2012)

Driving away wildlife dependent on native plants

Solutions for getting rid of invasive plant species include going out in the field and

pulling them up.
