The Belgian Ironman Champion, Marino Vanhoenacker, accomplished an incredible

feat this weekend at the Austrian Ironman®. He simply shattered the 14 year old

World Record by more than four minutes! He crossed the line in 7:45:58:46 to take

his 6th consecutive victory.

On his Scott Plasma premium SRAM RED and Zipp Firecrest 808/ Super-9 disc he

achieved another incredible performance: the second fastest bike split in the

Ironman history. He rode the 180km in 4:15:37 (Average speed: 42.25km/h).

Marino Vanhoenacker is one of the stars of Ironman and is a nine-time Champion.
