Any group of colors from which all other colors can be obtained by mixing which include; Red, Blue, and Yellow

Primary Colors

A color resulting from the mixing of two primary colors.

Secondary Colors

Is a color made by mixing either one primary color with one secondary color.

Tertiary Colors

Are pairs of color which when combined together create a neutralized color such as brown. They are on the opposite sides of a color wheel.

Complementary Color Scheme

Cool Colors

Hue- term used to describe purest form of color example, blue, yellow, green, etc.

Tints- Means color plus white

Shades- Means color plus black

Value-The lightness and darkness of a color

Saturation- brightness of a color
