CLEANERPRODUCTIONAGREEMENT

CLEANER PRODUCTIONAGREEMENT

The Cleaner Production Agreementis a sustainability standard createdby the Government of Chile. Theyhave created this mechanism forseveral industrial sectors, andrecently also for Higher EducationInstitutions.

Around 20 Universities signed it, ofwhich 14 complied with it. Itrequested to accomplish thefollowing 11 goals:

Have a Sustainability

Policy

CLEANER PRODUCTION AGREEMENT

GOAL N°1

Promote sustainability topics in the

teaching curriculum

GOAL N°2

Develop a sustainability

outreach programme

GOAL N°3

Promote sustainability

related topics in research

GOAL N°4

Train 20% of the students

and professors in sustainability

matters

CLEANER PRODUCTION AGREEMENT

GOAL N°5

Measure the Universities'

carbon footprint

GOAL N°6

Reduce in 5% the energy

consumption indicators

GOAL N°7

Reduce in 5% the water

consumption indicators

GOAL N°8

Implement a recycling

system on Campus

CLEANER PRODUCTION AGREEMENT

GOAL N°9

Implement risks prevention

measures

GOAL N°10

Measure the liquid waste

produced on Campus

GOAL N°11

The Campus Photovoltaic Solar Plant is built by124 modules, which are semi transparent andintegrated into the building.

It is connected to the grid, with power installedof 15 kW.

Panels Provider: Nexpower. Modelo: NexpowerLucid Plus NB-130AP.

Inversors Provider: SMA.
