ISTANBUL MEDIPOL UNIVERSITY PREPARATION STUDENTS’ DEVELOPMENT CHART

FOREWORD

In this chart we will try to explain what we are going to teach the students

during the preparatory year, in order to have students to get ready to

pursue their following studies in the respective departments successfully. In

other words this chart will demonstrate the level of the students at the

beginning of the preparatory year as well as the level any average student is

supposed to be at the end of the preparatory year.

At the beginning of the academic year we expect to start with students of two

levels: A1 and A2 students according to CEFR (Common European Framework of

Reference for Languages ). Similarly we expect the student starting Preparatory

School at level A1 by the end of the year to finish successfully level C1 and the

students starting Preparatory School at level A2 by the end of the year to finish

successfully level C2.

A1 STARTER

After ten weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be A2.

FOR A1 STARTERS OF THE PROGRAM

After eight weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be B1.

After three weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be B2.

After three weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be C1.

Three weeks of education for the designated level.

A2 STARTERS

After seven weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be B1.

After seven weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be B2.

After three weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be C1.

After seven weeks of education they will be C2.

Three weeks of education for the designated level.
