In december our town is
decorated with lights and a tall
Christmas Tree in our main square :Piazza Cavalli
Christmas MarketIn this square there’s a traditional Christmas Market where you can buy presents and decorations.
At home
We decorate christmas trees and make Nativity scenes in our houses.
Santa LuciaWe’re waiting for Santa Lucia:She arrives at night between 12th and 13th december, riding a donkey and carrying presents for children.Early in the morning we find gifts under the Christmas tree.
At school
Handmaking decorationsAt school we’re preparing christmas handmaking decorations and small presents for our Solidarity Market, to help children in need.
Christmas CardsWe write Christmas Cards for parents and friends. This year we are
sending cards to different schools in Europe and we are receiving wonderful cards from European countries.
It’ s a great experience!!
Christmas songs
We learn and sing carols and songs:We have a Christmas Concert in a theatre not far from our school.
