Now in its 4th year, the Practical Classics Restoration & Classic Car Show will take place on 31st March - 2nd April. This unique season opening event will be run in association with Classic Car Weekly, Classic Cars and ClassicCarsForSale.co.uk, who will join us in celebrating all aspects of classic car restoration.
The Practical Classics Restoration Show brings together a heady mix of inspirational restoration advice, hands-on demonstrations and must-have products to create the best restoration show in the UK. Be it individuals restoring a classic in their garage, those looking to appoint a professional restorer or simply anyone who loves classic cars and wants to learn more about keeping them on the road, this is the show for every enthusiast.

Show FeaturesThe event will be rich with features designed to compel visitors to fl ock to the show. These include:
Practical Classics Live Stage Hosted by Danny Hopkins with a full-on daily schedule of information and entertainment, Planned content includes a live restoration project challenge, club tech challenges, Play Your Cars Right (classic car game show), the best British Restorations and celebrity interviews.
The Workshop Themed as a busy restoration garage with tools, parts and spares all around, this feature will focus on developing skills with a schedule of daily demonstrations from experts covering subjects such as welding, panel beating, using an English wheel, lead-loading and tuning your carburettor.
Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership Showcases stunning restoration of vehicles ranging from pre-war to modern classics. Some of the selected cars include a 1952 Humber Pullman Limousine, 1976 Citroen Ami Super Saloon and a stunning VW Camper Van taking the fi rst of the 20 places available for private entries.
Car Clubs Will be invited to bring along barn fi nds and fully restored exhibits. The core criteria for their invitiatsion is that they work on cars during the show and talk to and interact with visitors as they do it, showing the classic world what they are made of.
Barn Finds Includes classics in all states of repair – from completely original and needing TLC to ‘rust in peace’. Around 25 hidden treasures, discovered in barns, garages and even under cover at the bottom of the garden, will be brought into the spotlight for enthusiasts to enjoy.
National Car Club Awards The National Car Club Awards held in association with Tourism Ireland, supported by Classic Car Weekly and endorsed by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs will be held at the NEC, Birmingham and hosted alongside the Practical Classics Restoration & Classic Car Show.

The NEC Birmingham
Home of the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, the NEC is centrally placed to attract visitors from Manchester and the north, the midlands, home counties, London, South, South East and South West. The NEC has 16500 parking spaces and is also accessible by rail. It has a long history of hosting the best public shows in the UK. The show will be held in Halls 8-12.
