Legion of Mary The name of St. Pius X Legion of Mary is Our Lady of the Mystical Rose. At the end of March, auxiliary and active members, all over the world, participate in a beautiful public Consecration to Mary ceremony known as the Acies. This ceremony is at the heart of the Legion of Mary
because members renew their devotion to The Most Holy Virgin. Afterwards, there is a luncheon. This year, St. Pius X Our Lady of the Mystical Rose will host the luncheon. The date will be announced in the next few weeks. If interested in becoming a Legion auxiliary or active member, please come to our meeting or call Concetta Beck at 610-356-4260. St. Pius X OVER 50’s Club The Club met on Tuesday, February 4th with 76 members present. A Pizza lunch funded by the Travel Club was enjoyed. Many thanks to our Kitchen Crew: Mabel DiTomo, Wilma Tononi, Marge DiStefano and Flo McGovern who helped
serve and always have our Coffee/Tea ready!!! Valentine's Day was celebrated early and there was a sea of Red in the group AND Msgr. Jagodzinski even wore a Red sweater! Auctioneers Walt Devitt and Meg DiPietro led the Blind Auction with helpers Flo McGovern and Jeanette Mader. Amount raised will be announced at the next meeting on Tuesday, February 18. “That Man Is You” (TMIY), our Catholic men’s spirituality and leadership program, started the Spring session on Friday, 1/31/20, and is always open to new attendees at all of our Friday sessions, so please join us! “That Man Is
You” helps men to improve their understanding of our Catholic faith and how it can help strengthen them to be better Catholic men, husbands, and fathers. This Spring semester will focus on developing personal leadership skills, through living in union with God and conquering primary temptations in life. It will also outline related Lenten practices that help prepare for Easter. Our program is conducted in the Church basement, and we open at 6:00 AM with beverages, snacks, and conversation. We start the session with the TMIY video at 6:30 AM, followed by group discussions at 7:00 AM, and we conclude by 7:30 AM. There is no cost to attend, nor is any work required outside of the meetings … just your interest in building faith-based leadership qualities within your life. CARING FOR FRIENDS MEALS (formerly Aid for Friends) Aid for Friends is in desperate need of meals for those in need. If you are able to help with providing your leftovers in tins provided by the
Parish, it would be of tremendous help. Tins and supplies are located in the Church basement on top of the Aid For Friends Freezer. This is an easy way to help the shut-ins, elderly and others in need of meals. If you have any questions, contact Paul Boston at 610-574-8442.
Women Of Hope Casseroles Casseroles are needed for Women of Hope, a shelter for homeless women in Philadelphia. The recipes and containers are available in the church kitchenette. You may drop off your casserole anytime in the church basement

FOOD FOR THE POOR There is no season when the poor do not need to be fed. Please bring your non-perishables to church on the 2nd Sunday of the month and leave them in the
Church Vestibule. Our Holy Father reminded us to not forget about the poor. Every Second Sunday of the Month we collect food for the poor.
Padre Pio Breakfast Casseroles Each Sunday, Brother Andrew McCarty of the OFM Capuchin Order with the assistance of many others,
serves breakfast to the homeless and poor of the Frankford and Kensington sections of Philadelphia. They have asked for our help in making breakfast casseroles.
Pans, instructions and sample recipes may be found in the church basement kitchen on top of the freezer marked for the Padre Pio Prayer Center. Please help this great cause.

Pre-Cana at St. Pius X The Fall Series of Pre-Cana sessions for
couples preparing for marriage will be held on Sundays, March 15, 22, 29, 2020
10:30 to 12:30. (Following the 9:30am Mass). The St. Pius X courses will present the same materials as the courses offered by the Archdiocese but in smaller and
more intimate setting. An engaged couple who is interested in attending this series should contact the
