APPLICATIONAPPLICATION
Energy exists in many different forms.
Examples of these are:
• Light energy
• Heat energy
• Mechanical energy
• Electrical energy
• Sound energy
• Chemical energy
• Kinetic Energy and
• Potential Energy
These forms of energy can be transferred and transformed between one another.
APPLICATION:Conventional Electric Cranes use Squirrel Caged Induction brake motors to lift and move loads.
Electrical Energy is consumed to raise the load, converting to Kinetic and Potential energy. At height, as the load is lowered, the potential energy is converted to electrical energy and converted to heat energy. The heat energy is then wasted through motor temperature rise and cooling fin heating.
PLANET Technology maintains the electrical energy as electrical energy but returns it to the power grid instead of waste heat.
