C. Diff upon exiting room use soap and water (Hand washing is required) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required Standard Precautions always apply

1. Wet hands first with water (avoid using hot water)2. Apply soap to hands3. Rub hands vigorously for at least 15 seconds covering all surfaces of hands and fingers4. Rinse hands with water and dry thoroughly with paper towel5. Use paper towel to turn off water faucet

*Clean room and all equipment using Oxivir

Contact PrecautionBefore entering room: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required Standard Precautions always apply

1. Clean your hands2. Put on an isolation gown3. Put on gloves

Before leaving room: Remove gloves and gown Cleans hands on the way out Dispose of gown

Airborne PrecautionBefore entering room: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required Standard Precautions always apply

1. Clean your hands2. Put on PAPR or fit tested N95 respirator 3. Perform a fit check of the mask

Before leaving room:1. Remove gloves and gown if worn2. Close the door as you leave the room

After leaving room:1. Remove PAPR or N952. Clean your hands
