From the divine light (nur) that isgiven byGod almighty, form ofknowledge ('i lm) isbeing communicated in this design proposal,which hopefully willclarify the Islamic conception ofknowledge for human beings. Fractal geometries ofbasic shapes form the whole

composition, coupled with a wide spectrum ofcolor, making this artwork contemporary in its proposed context. The iconic represen-

tation ofpixelations and decoding of nature marks the artist's appreciation ofGod's creation on earth. TI1eprocess of making these

patterns isa further development from the traditionalist Islamic patterns and motifs.

deconst ructed over an understanding of i ts sub grids parameters. The r igid divis ions of t radi tional arabesque composi -t ions were f ragmented into ser ies of hybrid pat terns that imbued imagery t ranscr ipts ofeveryday occurrence in the city,

plan designs were juxtaposed together toprovide a manifes ta tion ofan urgent urban agenda for a beaut iful Makkah.

Thi 'dream' master plan ishoped to communicate the regional ident ity of, n Islamic nat ion by su cinct ly t rans la ting the

formal discipl ine of the sub grids found in the genius ofIs larni geometr ies into the context of modern set ting through

design exper imentation. Each sub grids wil l contain the f ragmented master plan organized to inform people about the

val idity of thi s agenda in order to sus ta in the continuity of local cul tural her itage asexpressed in the design.The mural

will be an intricate wall relief piece; which is made from pol ished high quali ty tones found withi n the sur rounding

context.
