-­‐‑  Responsible  for  the  recruitment  and  management  of  approximately  two  hundred  student  applicants  from  23  states  throughout  the  south  and  southwest  regions  of  the  U.S.    -­‐‑  Assist  in  the  evaluation  of  current  recruitment  strategy  and  planning  for  future  Admissions  initiatives.  -­‐‑  Extensive  travel  to  high  schools,  college  fairs,  and  private  events;  manage  annual  travel  budget  of  approximately  $35k.  -­‐‑  Advise  prospective  students  and  families  regarding  applications  processes,  academic  requirements,  and  financial  aid.  -­‐‑  Recruit  undergraduate  applicants  for  admission  in  a  successful  effort  to  bring  applications  to  a  three-­‐‑year  high.

-­‐‑  Responsible  for  daily  editorial  content  and  technical  production  of  NextNewDeal.org—The  Roosevelt  Institute’s  online  publication  devoted  to  financial  and  economic  reform.  -­‐‑  Conducted  original  research  in  addition  to  fact  checking,  copyediting,  and  editorial  support.  -­‐‑  Managed  all  aspects  of  new  media  and  online  identity  for  NewDeal20.org,  including  Twitter,  Facebook;  successfully  implemented  a  strategic  plan  to  grow  online  presence  and  increase  web  traffic.  -­‐‑  Responsible  for  cross-­‐‑posting  original  content  to  larger  outlets  such  as  The  Huffington  Post.    -­‐‑  Authored  weekly  opinion  pieces  and  other  original  content  to  facilitate  a  dialogue  on  proposed  financial  reforms.
