The conference will be held in a hotel in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Kaohsiung has an international airport, Kaohsiung Airport,

within the city limit.

Both candidate hotels can be reached from the airport within

30 minutes by taxi.

Public transportation in Kaohsiung is also very convenient.

Kaohsiung is also connected by high-speed railway.

It takes only 96 minutes from/to Taipei.

It takes only 90 minutes from/to Taoyuan, where a larger

international airport, Taoyuan Airport, is located.

central Kaohsiung. The latest renovation was completed in

2010. In 2011, it was selected as the best hotel with highest

customer satisfaction in Southern Taiwan.

• Nationals of many countries are eligible for the visa

exemption program. For details, visit

• Participants from mainland China need to apply permissions

to enter Taiwan from both Taiwan and China. The formal

usually takes a couple of weeks. The latter may take over a

month.
