Karma

Americans use the word karma to mean effect. Buddhists use it to mean cause.

• For example in America: John lost his job. That’s his karma.

• In Asia. John lost his job because he created bad karma.

Karma is a sanskrit word. It means action.

The butterfly effect

A butterfly flapping its wings can change the path of a hurricane. Small actions can have far reaching effects.

A ripple in water can travel very far.

Karma is unpredictable. ไม่�คาดฝั�น• We cannot predict the effects of karma

perfectly.

Reap what you sow.

You can change your karma by using mindfulness.

Karma is a natural law. There is no judge or god that decides it.
